| Biographical Information Donna Yeager is a member of the Mid-America Pastel Society. Her work has been exhibited across the US as well as internationally. "I have always loved to draw." That passion for art and willingness to learn have fostered her painting skills and honed her expertise as a teacher, too. "When I paint from photos I pretend that I'm painting from life and that I can't spend too much time on it before the light changes." Donna gives richly of herself in her pastel paintings - she enjoys pouring out her observations of the land and people in portraits. "I teach the way I learn, breaking everything down in a simple easy-to-understand way. When my students are struggling, I tell them to keep at it - not to get discouraged and give up, even if the painting is a disaster. What matters is what they're learning."
