Robert Pantelone

Biographical Information

Born in Paterson, New Jersey, Bob spent a good portion of his growing-up years in the Garden State, graduating from high school in Phillipsburg. He spent several years in the textile industry after graduating from F. I. T. in New York City, but always had a strong interest in the fine and graphic arts. In his early married years, Bob left textiles, moving with his wife Ann to the green hills of Connecticut to pursue a graphic arts career. He has lived in Meriden, CT for over twenty years.

Although Bob has taken a few lessons in oil and watercolor painting, he is basically self-taught. He enjoys experimenting with different techniques and styles which keeps his interest in painting always fired up. Along with fine art painting, he also freelances for several greeting card and gift wrap companies. He is a member of the Meriden and Madison, Connecticut art associations, where he has won several awards for his work.
