We have four monks on staff at the Printery House.

Other monks also help out from time to time.

The Printery House also has many full-time, part-time, and seasonal lay employees.

Our community

Conception is a small town of fewer than 100 people located in rural northwest Missouri. While it is mainly a farming community, Conception does have several small businesses including the Printery House. Seventeen miles northwest of Conception lies the town of Maryville which has a population of over 11,000 people and is the nearest town for fast-food restaurants, grocery stores, craft stores, a university, and various other businesses.

We are blessed with an experienced, hard-working group of employees at the Printery House, many of whom have been with us for over 15 years. We encourage a family atmosphere in which people care about and help one another.

	Proceeds from the Printery House help to support the monks of Conception Abbey and Conception Seminary College, where young men receive an accredited college education as they study in preparation for the Catholic priesthood.
	The Printery House is making every effort to protect the environment by using papers that either contain recycled content or have been purchased from paper mills which practice responsible forestry stewardship. All in-house paper scrap from the production process is recycled.
