Ordering terms and conditions

The Printery House has been in the mail order business for more than fifty years. We also sell most of our products through religious goods stores. We recognize three groups of customers:

  • Retail Customers (everyone who buys our products for their own use or to send as gifts, including religious professionals such as priests, sisters, and ministers)
    Retail customers are required to submit payment with all orders.

  • Institutions (churches or schools)
    Institutional customers must prepay their first order, then may request to be billed for future orders with 30 days to pay. We charge 1.5% interest per month for late payments. A contact person's name is required.


  • Dealers (businesses that buy our products and resell them to consumers)
    Dealer terms are explained on another page.

Payment

Payment may be made by check, money order, or credit card.
Make checks out to The Printery House.


If paying by credit card, we accept Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. 
If sending a credit card order by mail, be sure to include the card number and expiration date and sign your name.

Do not send cash or stamps.

Online Orders

To shop online, just begin at www.printeryhouse.org. You may complete your purchase online with a credit card or print it for mailing with a check or money order. Institutional customers and Dealers with established 30-day terms may also complete orders online.

Phone Orders

To place an order over the phone, just call toll free (800) 322-2737.
Our business hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm Central time
Monday through Friday. We have an answering service that can take orders 24 hours a day Monday through Saturday. We will not accept a phone order on Sundays or Holy days.

Fax Orders

Use our toll free fax line (888) 556-8262.
You may fax your order 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Credit card orders or Institutional purchase orders only.
Please do not fax imprint images to be scanned. The quality is insufficient.

Mail Orders

Our online shopping cart makes it easy to send your order by mail. Simply browse the site and add the items to your cart, then take your cart to check out. At the payment step of the checkout process, specify payment by check or money order, and we will prepare a copy of your order that you can print and mail to us with your payment.

You may also use the order form included in our catalog, or type or clearly hand write your order with all necessary information (name, address, etc.) on any sheet of paper. Just be sure to correctly calculate the total, including shipping charges (see below).

Shipping & Handling

Within the USA, we add a charge for shipping and handling based on the total cost of merchandise ordered:

  • $10 or less, add $4.99
  • $10.01 -$25.00, add $5.99
  • $25.01 - $40.00, add $6.99
  • $40.01 - $65.00, add $8.49
  • $65.01 - $90.00, add $9.49
  • $90.01 - $120.00, add $10.49
  • $120.01 - $150.00, add $11.49
  • $150.01 - $200.00, add $12.49
  • $200.01 - $250.00, add $14.49
  • over $250, add $15.49

Certain oversize items require an additional charge. This will be noted on the item page. Free shipping promotions do not apply to oversize charges.

Orders are normally shipped UPS (United Parcel Service) or FEDEX Ground and they require a street address, not a PO box. If you prefer shipment by the US Postal Service, please tell us when you order. You should expect to receive your order within 5-7 business days if the items ordered are in stock.

Quantity discounts and international orders are charged actual shipping cost.

Expedited Shipping

We can provide Next Day or 2nd Day domestic delivery on any telephone, fax, or web order. Orders will be shipped the next business day (except orders that have product to be imprinted... call for a timeframe). Heavyweight or oversize items are not eligible for expedited shipping. For expedited shipment service add the following charges to the rates given above:

UPS or FedEX 2-Day delivery (business days), add $12.00.

UPS or FedEx Next Day delivery (business day) add $20.00.


Outside the USA

We are happy to accept orders from outside the USA subject to these conditions:

  • Order must be paid in US dollars via a check from a US bank, international money order, or one of the above credit cards.
  • You will be charged for the actual cost of shipping. We ship internationally via the United States Postal Service only. Please specify air (2 to 3 weeks) or surface (4 to 8 weeks). No tracking is available on international orders.
  • We have limited ability to understand your order in languages other than English.
  • You may incur tax or duty charges in your country over which we have no control.

Gift
Orders

To send items as gifts, submit a separate order for each recipient, providing a "Ship To" address. Shipping and Handling charges apply to each order. We will ship the order with a packing slip that does not show prices. You may submit a gift message to be printed on this packing slip. If desired, you may request that your message be hand written on a gift card.

Volume
Discounts

For our retail and institutional customers buying in larger quantities, we offer price discounts for certain products:

  • Greeting Card discounts begin at 300 cards (in units of 100 cards of the same design).
  • Note Card discounts begin at 1000 cards (in units of 100 cards of the same design).
  • Icon Holy Card discounts begin at 500 cards (units of 100 of the same design).
  • Prayer Card discounts begin at 5 packages, mix and match allowed.
  • Icons on walnut, Matted Prints, Crucifixes--discounts begin at $300 total price.

For details, please call, fax, or write for a quote. The online store does not automatically apply these discounts. Hopefully, we will notice when entering the order and will apply discounts as appropriate. If you believe you are entitled to a discount, please remind us in the 'special instructions' section of your order checkout information.

Duplicate Catalogs

We try to avoid sending duplicate catalogs, but sometimes your name can creep into our database more than once. If you are receiving duplicate copies, please send us all the labels, indicating which one you prefer. We will eliminate the duplicates. In the meantime, why not share your extra copy with a friend who might appreciate our products as much as you do? Note: sometimes we deliberately send more than one copy of a catalog to you at different times, in case you aren't ready to buy when the first catalog comes. In this case, the addresses will have different codes in the blue box on the back of the catalog.

Our Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your order for any reason, we will accept the prompt return of merchandise for refund or exchange. Just call our customer service number (800) 889-0105 during office hours as above or send a fax or e-mail message explaining the problem.
