(Inside left) Almighty God, gracious Father, our hearts swell with gladness at the sweetness of the heavenly dwelling you provide for those who place their faith in your Son. May the glorious cloud of witnesses that surrounds us make room for all our beloved dead who now intercede for us. AMEN (Inside right) May our merciful God fill you with hope and bring you comforting peace.

Item Details:

Oil painting of the entombment of Christ.  The art was modeled after the Stations of the Cross in the Marienkirche in Stuttgart, Germany which were originally painted by monks of the Abbey of Beuron.

The author of this prayer, Father Pachomius Meade, O.S.B., a monk of Conception Abbey, uses his many talents for the glory of God. He is a writer, iconographer, and artist for The Printery House.
