Mary Tooley is a children's art educator, free lance artist and writer. Since 1972, she has created greeting cards, posters and graphics with messages of joy. Mary works in a variety of media including cut paper, collage, watercolor, stitchery and colored pencils.
To share her love of art and science, Mary has created thirty different Art in a Suitcase programs which she presents to over 20,000 children each year in schools, museums and libraries.
Russ Tooley is a computer manager and programmer who began his career in 1963 when the computer filled an entire room. His career has focused on making computer services easy to use for people who are uncomfortable with high tech equipment. He is currently developing internet print on demand applications. In 1990, Russ began collaborating with Mary, providing computer type and design assistance.
Russ and Mary are both graduates of the University of Wisconsin. They have been married for 38 years and share their home on the shores of Lake Michigan with four cats.
