Elaine Grohman, Calligrapher

Biographical Information

Elaine Grohman, owner and operator of Grohman's Studio, has been making beautiful letters for more than 20 years. After studying calligraphy, lettering and graphic design at the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan, Elaine opened Grohman's Studio in 1985 and began many years of teaching and exhibiting her work. She has designed for several greeting card companies and has exhibited her fine art calligraphy in galleries and exhibits around the world. She was among 54 artists who represented the United States in an international calligraphy exhibit, US/USSR Calligraphia, sponsored by International Typeface Corporation of New York.
